Safety & Employability
There are many things that you can do in order to stay safe while on the job. In the safety and employability section of the course, students will learn the latest information regarding machine safety, compliance, and regulations. Students will also learn how to stay connected to their team through communication and training.
Process & Production
In the Manufacturing Process & Production section of the course, students will learn the importance of ensuring that the quality of the end product meets the required specifications. Students will gain knowledge of mechanical principles, machine tooling, production control, and manufacturing metrics.
Quality Measurement
In manufactuing, it is necessary to have the most accurate and precise measurements and quality practices. In this section of the course, students will gain the knowledge of multi-view drawings and precision measurement tools. Students will also learn about Dimensional Gauging, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and will get an Introduction to SPC (Statistical Process Control).
Maintenance Awareness
Students learn about total productive maintenance and preventive maintenance in the Maintenance Awareness section of the course. They will gain knowledge of lubrication concepts, basic electrical circuits and hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.
